Our Detention Security Electronic Systems division designs, builds, and services new and existing detention security electronic systems. A ‘Detention Security Electronic System’ is defined as two or more of the following systems that are integrated for operational use:

  • Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
  • Intercom
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
  • Door Control
  • Access Control
  • Fire Alarm Systems

These specialty technicians also upgrade existing systems and provide 365/24/7 service responses. Our team is experienced in approximately sixty-five (65) detention facilities on the West Coast including Hawaii.

In September, 2016, Accurate Electric Unlimited (AEU) acquired several technicians and electricians that specialize in Detention Security Electronic Systems. The eight-person crew has a combined experience in detention security electronic systems is more than 45 years.

Word, or industry gossip, spread fast that the new AEU “Detention” team was completing service work. Several detention equipment manufacturers’ signed up with AEU as authorized dealers and/or service centers:

VICON: Premier CCTV manufacturer of detention quality CCTV systems and cameras. Vicon is a defacto industry standard for CCTV systems in integrated detention systems since 1971.

HARDING INSTRUMENTS: The only manufacturer of Detention rated & quality intercom systems and field intercom stations. Harding Instruments has two major systems for jails that AEU personnel are certified to install, program, and service; DXI and DXL.

GE: Manufacturer of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) that is installed in a majority of the detention systems on the west coast.

Indusoft: Human Machine Interface (HMI) software that controls the overall integrated systems. While AEU services a myriad of other vendors, we have standardized on Indusoft and Cimplicity (GE FANUC).

Cimplicity: Also an HMI platform that provides a user interface for integrated systems. Functional, flexible, and stable.
