Monroe State Prison
Is a testament to the capabilities of our detention security electronic technicians. The prison was originally built in 1910 where ‘electric’ controls were installed just a few years later. Our technicians recently changed out the tower controls and serviced a locking control system built in 1933. They were able to bring the dated locking control system on line and integrate the new control system.
Klamath County Jail
In 2017 AEU technicians retrofitted the complete security electronic system at the Klamath County Jail. Originally installed in 1989, the existing DOS based touch screen system had critically failed. AEU mobilized and had a temporary system in place while the retrofit was on going. The new system was installed in 4 months utilizing state of he art technology. A new PLC control system with digital video cameras will serve the jail in the years to come.
YMCA
AEU worked with YMCA staff and owners representatives to determine the direction and extent of this major remodel of the Vancouver YMCA located at 11324 NE 51st Circle Vancouver WA. Engaging our electrical engineer and design build team; AEU determined the appropriate direction and methods that provided the successful end results regarding to power, lighting, V/D and fire alarm. AEU cordially worked with the General Contractor (RSV) and sub-contractors on this major remodel exceeding everyone’s expectations. We received very positive feedback regarding our performance and execution.
Three Creeks Medical
AEU worked with the four owners of the Three Creeks Medical and owners representatives for about one year prior to ground breaking of this ground-up Medical building located at 900 NE 139th St. Vancouver WA. Engaging our electrical engineer and design build team; AEU worked through four individual tenants in this facility (Adventure Dental, Cascadia Women’s Clinic, Balanced Physical Therapy and Creekside Medical) and each tenants specific electrical needs. AEU provided individual design for each of these projects. Meshing our resources while each of these projects were in progress with regard to lighting, power, V/D, fire alarm, access control and security; AEU was able to reduce cost to the overall project cost by utilizing suppliers that worked with AEU’s multi-tenant material orders. AEU successfully worked with the General Contractor (RSV) and sub-contactors on this ground-up design build project.
Thermal Modification Technologies
On-Semiconductor
AEU has installed many tools and controls at this high tech facility.
Evergreen Plastics
AEU worked with the design team at RSV Building Solutions to complete this ground-up “design build project.” This facility houses many high amperage tools for molding plastic bottles. This site required extra coordination with fire life safety officials and a large 100 horse power fire pump because of the risk of a plastic fire. AEU also mapped out their old facility including control and wiring diagrams to facilitate the move to their new facility where we reassembled the equipment. We also installed the Clark PUD high voltage service to the site as well.
Discovery Dental
AEU worked with the design team at RSV Building Solutions to complete this ground-up “design build project.” This dental office is a state of the art building with multiple patient rooms. AEU also installed the Clark PUD high voltage service to the site.
Columbia Precast Products
AEU worked with the design team at RSV Building Solutions to complete this fast paced “design build project.” AEU installed multiple large electrical services to this facility for the many high amperage pieces of equipment for the precast concrete process. This is a very large site with long runs of electrical and communications to different buildings and site locations.
Clark College
AEU works with the maintenance staff at Clark College to do many upgrades including a new upgraded high voltage transformer and service to the APH – FST Buildings, egress lighting on the entire campus, and any other ongoing electrical needs they may have.
Underwriters Laboratories LLC
AEU has serviced the UL facility since 2004 and members of our leadership team prior to 2004. AEU has installed many custom electrical installations for the testing done at UL in their multiple labs. UL has every configuration of electrical at this facility to test any product and AEU maintains this electrical gear regularly.
